This version of the iTrip allows you to tune the iTrip to a frequency using the know on it (rather than fiddling with the iPod to play a certain set of tones) and viewing that frequency on an LCD display. You can then tune in any radio to that frequency and hear what you are playing on the iPod in that frequency.

They are also offering a $30 rebate for it. In fact, this rebate applies to any Apple product you purchase by Feb 28, 2006.

The rebate lists all the hardware and software that qualifies and how much you get back via rebate. They also provide free shipping on web orders order $249.

Apple announced upgrades to their processors and Amazon just sent a few of us the following in an email:

Amazon is providing a $150 rebate on both the 1.83 GHz and the 1.67 GHz MacBook Pro (with the new Intel Core Duo). The MacBook Pros are the next generation of Powerbooks.
The rebate is also available for the 2.0 GHz iMac with 20 inch display and the 1.83 GHz 17 inch iMac, both with the Intel Core Duo.

Update: Some of these products are shipping late March or even after. However, the rebate requires a postmark date by March 7. Some of us bought the MacBook Pros and wrote in to Amazon. They made exceptions for us so you may want to write in to their customer service as well (use email so you have it in writing).

Additionally, many of us have noticed in the past Amazon will extend refund offers (this is an Amazon rebate) when the rebate expiration date gets closer…but don’t always bank on it.
